Redo is a protective mask integrated into a cap, designed for everyday use during the Covid-19 period. The project proposes a hybrid object that combines protection and daily wear within a single accessory. It addresses situations where the mask needs to be put on and removed repeatedly throughout the day.
The system is based on integrating the mask directly into the cap. A textile visor pulls down to cover the face and provide protection, then folds back above the forehead after use. The design focuses on simplifying gestures and reducing handling during repeated use.
Redo was developed during the Covid-19 period. The project was presented in 2020 as part of BYOM Interactive (online). It was later exhibited in 2021 at the Swiss Pavilion, Shanghai (CN), and subsequently shown during Dubai Design Week in Dubai (UAE).
